There’s SNOW!!! Not a ton, but we will be playing outside in it!! Please pack your child’s snow gear and it would be SUPER helpful if you could bring it in a grocery bag with their name on it!

Good morning!!

It is going to be a chilly one today and I do plan on getting the kids outside BUT not until it hits 32 degrees. I have noticed that the kids are miserable outside when it’s below 32 degrees without snow. With snow, they couldn’t care less about the temperature 🤷🏻‍♀️ So on frigid days below 32, we will stay inside until it warms up enough. 😬

With that being said, we will probably be going outside around 11:00 when it warms up to 32 degrees, so please make sure your kiddos have what they need to survive outside 😆 You guys always do, but I just need to cover my bases!!

Just a friendly reminder that we are back at school tomorrow! I’m SO excited to see everyone and hear all about their break!

I know I just posted it, but if you’re able to make it to the field trip which is next Thursday to Mobius Discovery Center, please RSVP!! It will be SO MUCH FUN!

Secondly, I am about to place a book order to PaperPie but wanted to reach out to see if anyone wanted to order anything? I am planning on doing a Books and Bunco night in the next month or so where we can plan Bunco and try to win books! PaperPie has AMAZING interactive kid’s books and activities!! They make great screen-free activities!!

I hope you all had an amazing holiday break with those you love most! I just wanted to touch base about a few things as we gear up to start back to school next Tuesday:

1. I definitely hit vacation mode pretty hard and just sent out the invoices for December 🫣 Please forgive me!! You have a few extra days to pay since I wasn’t slacking!

2. Our January Field Trip has been posted! We are going to Mobius Discovery Center and since they are closed on Mondays, we are going on Thursday the 16th. Details are in the Link to the event! This is one of my girls’ favorite places to go, and it will be so much more fun with all of you!! I hope you all can make it, but I know the middle of the week can be tricky. I don’t think there’s a need for full snow gear today! I have maybe a 1/2 to an inch of snow. I think wearing snow boots and some good mittens today would be a great idea!! ☺️

I just wanted to touch base about a few things for this week:

1. Winter Break: This is our last week of school and we get a nice two-week break! We will be back to school January 7th!

2. Secret Pals- we are doing our exchange this week! You are welcome to bring your secret pal’s gift Tuesday (tomorrow) or Wednesday and I’ll just send them home when I get them.

3. Cozy Day- I declare Wednesday a COZY DAY!! Your kiddo can wear their coziest outfit, bring a snuggly blanket, and their favorite stuffy for a cozy, Christmas-y day in class! ☺️

Just a few things for this week:

1. I did email invoices out! So please check your emails 😀 Payment is due by December 3rd!

2. I sent home Secret Pals papers this past week! One is a half sheet that has all the info on it about when to return papers and gifts, and the other is a questionnaire for your child to answer some questions about themselves to help their Secret Pal pick out something special for them! The questionairre is due this week (by Wednesday if possible!) that way I can get them switched and you have a few weeks to get gifts! If you need another paper, please let me know and I can send it home again!
